Requirements Identification- CSI principals work closely with the primary client or funding agency to determine overall goals, expectations and requirements of the exercise.

Research & Analysis- CSI works with subject- matter experts in each community as well as national experts and specialists to develop a detailed model of cause-effect relationships, dependencies and constraints that will serve as the basis for the DXMA simulation model.

Crisis Simulation- CSI's DXMA simulations are designed to have enough flexibility to handle the myriad events, personnel, and conditional outcomes that would flood a real-life situation. We also create multimedia segments (simulated TV, radio, email, and fax, and even human actors as needed) that greatly enhance the realism and intensity of the experience.

Analysis & Recommendations- CSI principals and consulting experts will work with participating leaders to analyze simulation outcomes, assess vulnerabilities, conflicts and flaws inherent in the response system/approach, and develop recommendations for improvement of processes, systems and communication.
