Why does Crisis Simulations International use community mapping in its training?

CSI uses the “community map” to create the realism of a custom simulation for each community or organization. During the training, CSI simulations stress-test the connections within the community map to uncover hidden assumptions that could cause responses to fail in a real crisis.
